 New national highway system is under construction and scheduled for completion within the decade. Already, this new highway system is having a dramatic effect on passenger car travel.

 Red gas turbine powered super truck was conceived and computer designed by ford Motor Company engineers and stylists and already has traveled from coast to coast testing.

 Big red's experimental gas turbine power plant is the heart of the company's business. It develops 600hp and is capable of 24 hour a day sustained operation. A unique supercharged cycle contributes to the 705 engine.

 This engine makes very little noise and is almost vibration free. Its exhaust as clean and it can burn a wide range of fuels.

 The crew of a super truck enters the cab through a door opened by air cylinders using a ladder that lowers automatically.

 The seats are adjustable, leather covered and equipped with safety belts and built in head rests. A freestanding console contains the basic controls and power assists take much of the work out of driving.

 Big Red has a commanding view of the highway through a wide expanse of tinted windshield and side class. Co drivers have separate heating and cooling systems. Can't see driver.

 When you are driving along the highway, you may be surprised to see one of those new ideas as big as life, as big as big Red already on its way to keep an appointment in that exciting world of tomorrow
